What’s up Familia!!!!

This last week was a roller coaster ride for sure hahahaha. We have been trying to find some more people to teach here in the main pueblo of Frontera and we´ve found a few.  There were a couple of days when we walked for like 6 straight hours looking for people´s houses and legit no one wanted to talk to us.  Hey I guess that´s life though! We have found a couple of solid people though that are wanting to be baptized so we should have them in the water in a few weeks. We’ll see how it goes. This week I learned a lot about what the mish is really like and it is going to be tough but I’m here to give it my all that’s for sure.

Last Thursday we had to go to Villahermosa for this week 3 training thing and it was actually super dope. Presidente Haws told us that there are 5 main things that we need to do to make our missions memorable and successful: obedience, diligence, love, effort, and have el espiritu. I’m not here to have any regrets so that’s what I’m plan on doing!

Well, I finally started working out in the morning. hahaha. I realized that I’m just g getting even skinnier than I already am so might as well try to put some meat on my bones. There´s not much you can do though when you walk, sweat your balls off, and eat tons of beans and hot food (if you know what I mean lol). Jk The food here is actually bomb! We eat a lot of caldo de pollo which isn’t the best but it’s not too bad, and then we also eat a ton of antojitos (like empanadas and stuff asi) which are soooooo freaking good! Mmmm throw some nice salsa on that and it’s the best thing in the world hahaha.

Thanks for the package too! The obispos wife is going to make the cake this week and have a little party thing at their house so that will be fun.  We will be in Villahermosa for a training on my birthday so that should be cool.  For conference, I think we go to the church and watch it but I’m not quite sure. I have heard there may be a few changes so we’ll wait and see, right?! The language is actually getting a little easier. I can understand a lot more it just takes me a while to respond to stuff. Thanks for everything and for the birthday presents.  I’ll try to find something cool!

I am loving it down here honestly. I bought a hammock today and it was the best decision of my entire life hahaha besides the mish of course. It may have been 102 degrees plus humidity today but that’s alright. hahaha. I can’t wait to see what this week brings! Church is true!

Love y´all.
