Called To Serve
July 2018 - July 2020
It's been a crazy week I'm not gonna lie. The CCM has been awesome so far but I can't believe I still have 5 weeks left in here! The food is alright but I already could use some nice brisket. So, something I ate from yesterday gave me food poisoning so I've just been it bed and in the bathroom all day! hahaha. There are a bunch of us that are sick. I have officially gotten my first double headed dragon and it blowwws!!! My district went to the temple today but I wasn't able to go and I haven't been able to take any pictures yet because you can only take them on p-day and I’ve been dead all day lol. These beans really did it this time! We should just build a wall around the comedor (cafeteria)
Other than that I've loved it! My district (3A by the way if you want to send me a nice snack lol) is actually super dope! One of the guys is named Elder Stewart and he reminds me of Cam Hogan but with about an extra 100 pounds hahaha. He's a cowboy form Nevada and is hilarious. I knew I would be tight with him when he made a Step Brothers quote first day hahaha. My Spanish has actually gotten pretty dang good I'm not gonna lie! We've had to teach a bunch of 20 minute lessons in Spanish to our "investigator" Erika but unfortunately I don't think she can understand anything I say. I don't think she likes me very much because every other companionship baptized her except for us hahaha. I've had to teach the whole thing because my comp, Elder McCallson, doesn't know a dang thing hahaha! He's from Kansas and is kind of a wein! hahaha He's like the fat kid on the movie Barnyard who says "that's called cow tipping" lol. It's been quite the adventure I’m not gonna lie. I'm so pumped for this opportunity to be out here! It sucks being away from everyone but I see all my buds quite often! Only 103 weeks to go hahaha I can't wait to spread the gospel once I can speak to these Mexicans. Wish me luck hahaha. Love Y’all!!!!!
