Called To Serve
July 2018 - July 2020
WHAT’S UP EVERYONE?!!!
It has been a freaking good week actually! First things first, my ANGRY comp got sent home this week. hahaha It turns out he had some things that he needed to clear up. He left on Tuesday so I got put into a trio with my DL and his comp. One of them, Elder Herron, is so dope. He’s from Reno and we are pretty similar so it’s a fiesta. My other comp is a little stiff, but what can you do, right! hahaha. So since we got put in a trio we had to move from the dorms to a casa. We had to pack everything and I realized that I don't know if I can pack everything up again. hahahah Somehow Mom worked a miracle and shoved everything in there! Might have to drop some stuff before I leave for the field. Last Friday we had the opportunity to hear from Elder Bednar and it was soooo sick! The main topic was asking and acting in faith. Then he did a question and answer thing for about 45 minutes! He said something that I really liked and it is going to push me through the next two years. He said "Lose yourself in the service of God, for it is when you are lost you find out where you are going" It’s important to know that I´m not here for me. So this last week we started doing something called Promix when we get traded with latino companions every other day and it has actually been awesome for me! My guy is named Elder Pinedo and he’s this little tiny guy from Bolivia! He is so dope! I freaking love him! hahaha He’s just like the nicest guy in the world to be honest. I can’t understand everything that he says but it has been really helpful for my Spanish. Ok, it was so funny, so we had this devotional with the CCM President and he was talking about standing up against the enemy and holding your ground and this kid stood up and started going off about the movie 300 hahahahaha Elder Stew and I started to die! porque That is like the bloodiest movie ever! hahaha. That’s the story! I just thought it was hilarious. I can’t tell you how much I needed this p-day. hahaha We just took a nap and went for a run and stuff but it has been awesome! It has been dope though. We got a bunch of guys and did a tie swap and I got some good looking ties I think. There are a few ties that I won’t trade but other than those I’m up for trading anything! hahahaha. I seriously can’t believe I’m going into my last week at the CCM and I can’t wait to go to my area. It’s been a good week. The church is true Love you Guys! ADIOS!!!
